We kick off the Eurovision Competition, reveal the Madchester winner, explain the latest game changes and introduce a new sponsor.
Current Competition
Today, Sunday 26th April, we launch the Eurovision competition, this competition will go all the way up to the Eurovision weekend (26th May). The top prize, this time will be a Cliff Richard DVD. This time we feature 10 Eurovision artists (that have had 6 UK hits or more) and these are listed below, with their Eurovision achievements :
ABBA (Winner, 1974)
Brotherhood of Man (Winner, 1976)
Bucks Fizz (Winner, 1981)
Michelle Gayle (UK Finalist, 2008)
Sandie Shaw (Winner, 1967)
Lulu (Winner, 1969)
Cliff Richard (Represented UK in 1968 and 1973)
Olivia Newton-John (Represented UK in 1974)
Dana (Winner, 1970)
Celine Dion (Winner, 1988)
As there is a broad range of years here the prize year range will be the whole lot, 1960 to 2007. You must select this prize year range and have the highest or second highest artist bias points total in order to win.

Now to the winners and rankings from the Madchester comeptition, remeber in order to qualifiy for a prize or the rankings you must have used the 1988 to 1990 prize year range.

Where Re is a Re-entry (a player coming back into the top ten), and a NE is a New Entry (the first time that this player has made the top ten).
Just to clarify Bryan Oldham from Middlesex was high up the hall of fame but as he did not choose the correct prize years he did not feature in the rankings.
Stewart Lennox from Suffolk tops the rankings for an 18th time and wins the cash prize. This is Stewarts 8th first prize. Well done Stewart.
Back in play for the Eurovision competition is Graham Mather.
Game News
The stopping at level 8 change has now been implemented. So when you complete level 8, the game will end and a screen will appear saying Game Over and calculating how many extra points you will get based on the lives you have left. Each remaining life is worth 5,000 points.
