By registering for Ultquiz’s Official UK Chart Game, all entrants will be deemed to accept and be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

1. References in these terms to Ultquiz, “we”, “us” are from the administrators of this website.
2. This game is open worldwide, but governed by English Law. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute.
3. Entrants should be over the age of 18.
4. Please note some swear words / obscenities may be present in the game as these were the actual titles of a very small number of British Hit Singles.
5. The number of prizes and winning entrants will be clearly shown on the web-site.
6. For a chance to win, entrants must register in full allowing their score and email address to be recorded. The entrant with the highest score, using the prize year range, by 23.59 GMT on the closing day (defined on the web-site) will win the first prize, further prizes may be awarded at the administrator’s discretion.
7. Ultquiz reserves the right to change the prizes during a competition run. This will be clearly displayed on the website.
8. There will no cash alternative for non cash prizes.
9. Cash prizes will be sent to the winner as a personal cheque for the amount that is shown on the accumulator at 23:59 on the closing day of that competition run, if they paid through Netbanx. If they paid through Paypal it will be sent as an echeque.
10. Registration is free, but in order to play the game you must purchase credits. You can purchase 10 for £3, 20 for £5 and unlimited play for 28 days for £10. Playing the game once will result in the use of 1 credit (not applicable for unlimited play). Payments can be taken from Paypal or Netbanx.
11. No refunds on credits.
12. You can register at any time during a particular week’s game, and your score will count towards the current competition run.
13. The Hall of Fame will only show position, name, town, country, year range played and score. The Hall of Fame will be displayed on the Hall of Fame page of the website and can be shown within the game.
14. Unsuitable names, genuine or not, will not be entered onto our Hall of Fame. If you have a genuine name that unfortunately is not accepted by the Hall of Fame please contact us through feedback and we will try to accommodate your details in an acceptable manner.
15. Ultquiz is based on Official UK chart data from 1960 to 2005. This information is correct to the best of our knowledge. Copyright of the data rests with The Official UK Charts Company.
16. Prizes must be claimed within 14 days. After every competition an email will be sent out to the winner(s). The winner(s) must confirm their address and details within 14 days. Prizes unclaimed will be put back in the prize pool.
17. In the event of a tie the winner will be identified as being the first player to attain that score in the current competition run.
18. Multiple registrations by the same user are not tolerated, and so accounts can be removed at the administrators discretion.
19. We reserve the right to disallow any Hall of Fame winners who are adjudged to be entering under more than one registration.
20. Images of the prizes may differ to the actual prize.
21. Each player is restricted to one position on the Hall of Fame; this entry will be their highest score.
22. The winner will only be awarded if they have abided by these and the registration terms & conditions.
23. We comply with the standards, procedures and requirements laid down by the UK Data Protection Act 1998, to ensure that the personal information you give us is kept secure and processed fairly and lawfully. No personal information is publicly accessible.
24. Ultquiz respects all entrants’ privacy and the use and protection of the personal information (including any personal information provided by the entrants). Under no circumstances will your details be distributed to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We will only use it to send prizes and information directly related to competitions that you play - and to draw your attention to new competitions or offers that may interest you. That is, of course, if you opt in to do this on the registration or profile page.
25. We comply with the standards, procedures and requirements laid down by the UK Data Protection Act 1998, to ensure that the personal information you give us is kept secure and processed fairly and lawfully. No personal information is publicly accessible.
26. By referring a friend the referrer will receive 3 free credits, once the friend has registered.
27. We will endeavor to respond to emails to the administrator within 7 working days.
28. Ultquiz reserves the right to bring down the site at any time for maintenance or for any other reason, however this will be well advertised in advance.
29. If during the game you lose your internet connection then Ultquiz is not liable for the loss of any credits.
30. If there is a dispute then the administrators’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
31. We  take all reasonable steps to ensure that the site is error and virus free. However, if a virus is found we are not liable for any damage or loss of information to the player’s computer. It is therefore the player’s responsibility to keep their anti-virus software up-to-date.
32. Ultquiz reserves the right to block / suspend any username if we feel that anyone is breaching any of the terms and conditions and shall have no liability for compensation or refund of credits.
33. Ultquiz reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend the current competition run at any time and for whatever reason and shall have no liability for compensation or refund of credits.
34. All warranties are excluded so far as the law permits and Ultquiz shall have no liability except as expressly set out these terms. To the extent that Ultquiz is unable to exclude liability, any such liability shall be limited to the amount of any unused credits.
35. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and by accepting them you acknowledge that you are not relying on any representation not expressly set out herein. Nothing in these terms shall exclude liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
36. Should we make changes to this policy, we will immediately notify you by updating this statement on this web site.
